Book your next Downtown staycation at Oasis at Gold Spike, a cool Las Vegas hotel, and catch mini-beer fest Open Container at Container Park. On July 17 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Professional beer festival organizers, Motley Brews, are throwing their second installment of their second annual mini-festival series. Classic comedies clips play on the big screen at The Stage while attendees sample over 20 different ciders and beers from a four-ounce tasting glass. There will be live DJs, too. This month you’ll find breweries: Pizza Port, Victory, Brooklyn Brewery, Anchor Brewing, Maui Brewing Co., Ommegang, Magic Hat, Ace, Newcastle Palm and Strongbow.
At the end of the night, attendees are welcome to watch a free showing of a classic comedy. You’ll have another chance to catch Open Container August 14 with a different lineup of local and national beers. Tickets for July’s event are for sale online for $20 or for $25 at the gate. Book your stay at one of Oasis’ Crash Pads, and you don’t have to worry about finding a designated driver!
