The FAQs below explain what to expect during your visit and help ensure a smooth experience for everyone. By checking in, you agree to these policies, which may be updated from time to time.
When can I check in?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM, giving our housekeeping team time to prepare your room perfectly.
Can I check in early?
Early check-in is based on availability and may include an additional fee. Just ask the Front Desk—we’re happy to check for you.

Will my card be charged at check-in?
We place a $100 incidental hold on your card at check-in. This isn’t a charge—it simply covers any extras during your stay and is typically released by your bank within 3–7 business days.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Need a late check-out?
Let us know ahead of time. We’ll do our best to accommodate, though additional fees may apply. Staying past 11:00 AM without approval may result in a full-night charge.
Who needs to be registered?
All guests staying in the room must be registered at check-in. This helps us ensure safety, comfort, and proper accommodations.
How many guests are allowed per room?

How long can I stay?
The maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. A physical card is required—cash, checks, prepaid cards, and tap-to-pay are not accepted.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. We charge the first night plus tax and amenity fee at the time of booking. Nonrefundable reservations are charged in full.
What if my plans change?
You may cancel up to 48 hours before arrival to avoid a one-night cancellation fee plus tax. Nonrefundable bookings are not eligible for refunds.
What happens if I am running late for my check-in or I don’t show up?
We understand that travel plans can change! We will hold your room until 3:00 AM the morning following your scheduled arrival date. If you haven’t arrived or contacted us by then, we will unfortunately have to mark the reservation as a “No-Show.” This results in a charge of one night’s room and tax, and the remainder of your stay will be cancelled.
Paying for someone else?
Third-party and corporate payments require a completed Credit Card Authorization form approved before arrival.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Children are welcome in our poolside rooms. Please note that the Gold Spike Tower is strictly 21+.
Can I have visitors?
Yes, visitors are allowed when accompanied by the registered guest. For everyone’s comfort, visitors may not use hotel amenities.
Can I bring my pet?
While we love animals, we maintain a pet-free environment to ensure the comfort of all guests (certified service animals are always welcome).
Are parties allowed in rooms?
To ensure a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for all our guests, in-room parties and excessive noise are not permitted. We kindly ask that you keep noise levels respectful at all times. Please note that violations of this policy may result in eviction from the hotel without a refund.
Can the hotel refuse service?
Yes. To maintain a safe and comfortable environment, we reserve the right to refuse service or request that a guest leave if hotel policies or Nevada laws are not followed. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the Oasis a great place for everyone.
Is housekeeping provided daily?
To respect your privacy and promote sustainability, we do not provide automatic daily housekeeping. Instead, a full cleaning service is performed on the third day of your stay.
What if I hang a “Do Not Disturb” sign?
While we respect your space, please note that the third-day room refresh and condition check are mandatory. Our team will need to access the room to ensure property standards and guest safety are maintained, even if a “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed or if service was previously declined.
Is smoking allowed anywhere?
We take guest comfort and safety seriously. Because of this, we maintain a 100% smoke-free and vape-free policy indoors. Additionally, we prohibit the use of cooking appliances and open flames (like candles) in guest rooms to prevent fire risks. Guests are welcome to smoke in designated outdoor areas only. To maintain our fresh environment, a cleaning fee will be applied to any room where smoking has occurred. Violations of this safety policy carry a minimum $250 recovery fee.
Are firearms or weapons allowed?
The Oasis at Gold Spike is a designated weapons-free zone. To maintain a safe atmosphere for all travelers, we do not permit firearms or weapons of any kind on the premises, except for on-duty law enforcement.
Do you offer complimentary breakfast?
While we don’t serve breakfast on-site, our central location puts you within a 5-minute walk of several award-winning breakfast spots. This allows us to keep our room rates competitive while encouraging guests to explore the vibrant local dining scene right outside our doors.
Is there a swimming pool?
Absolutely! We invite you to take a dip and enjoy the Vegas sunshine at our pool. It’s open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM for all registered hotel guests. Just remember, the water is a natural temperature, and we don’t have a lifeguard on site—splash safe!
Do you offer free Wi-Fi?
We are pleased to offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel for all registered guests. Stay connected, stream your favorite shows on your device, or catch up on work easily. Signal strength might vary slightly in certain areas, but a strong connection is always within reach.
Is parking included?
We offer on-site parking for our guests in the lots directly in front of the hotel and across the street. To receive your complimentary parking pass, please provide your license plate and vehicle description at the front desk during check-in.
Important Note: The “Pay-to-Park” lot nearby is owned by the City of Las Vegas. Please ensure you are parked in designated Oasis at Gold Spike guest spots, as the hotel is not responsible for city-issued tickets or expired registrations.
Is there a business center?
Yes. We offer complimentary photocopies and a guest-use computer.
Do hotel guests get nightclub access?
Yes. Registered guests 21+ receive complimentary access to Gold Spike Bar & Lounge with a valid room key and ID.
Guests are responsible for damages, excessive cleaning, smoking violations, or missing items. Charges may apply during or after your stay.
Tampering with fire safety equipment will result in immediate eviction and possible legal action.
Emergency exits are posted inside each room. Please contact the Front Desk immediately in the event of an emergency.
For health and safety reasons, the hotel may refuse accommodations to guests with contagious illnesses when necessary.
